Terms & Conditions
Effective: 16 April 2026 · Last updated: 16 April 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at lldpresence.co.uk and any purchase of products from LLD Presence ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
LLD Presence is operated by Elina Ermansone, trading as "LLD Presence", in the United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].
2. Products
We sell handcrafted dance shoes. Product images are indicative; actual colour and finish may vary slightly due to screen settings and the handcrafted nature of each pair. Each pair is manufactured on demand or in small batches — slight variations in material, tone and finish are a feature of bespoke craftsmanship, not a defect.
3. Pricing & payment
- All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include UK VAT where applicable.
- Prices do not include delivery unless stated. Delivery costs are calculated at checkout.
- Payment is taken at the time of ordering via Stripe. We accept major credit / debit cards and Klarna (where eligible).
- We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on the site before accepting your order.
4. Orders & acceptance
Placing an order is an offer from you to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. Until then, we may refuse or cancel an order — for example, if a product is out of stock, a pricing error was made, payment is declined, or we reasonably suspect fraud.
5. Delivery
- We ship to the United Kingdom as standard. International shipping may be available on request — contact us before ordering.
- Estimated dispatch and delivery times are shown at checkout. Times are estimates, not guarantees.
- Risk of loss transfers to you on delivery. Legal ownership transfers once we have received full payment.
- If an order does not arrive within the expected window, please contact us at [email protected].
6. Your right to cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
If you are a consumer (buying for personal use), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
How to cancel
- Email us within 14 days of delivery: [email protected], stating your order number and that you wish to cancel.
- Return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us, at your own cost, in their original condition and packaging, unworn (except to try on briefly indoors), with all tags intact.
- We will refund the full price of the goods (including original standard delivery) within 14 days of receiving them back, or evidence you have returned them, whichever is sooner. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
Exclusions
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- Bespoke or personalised items made to your specification or clearly personalised (e.g. custom colour, size, or design);
- Goods that have been worn outside of initial fitting and show wear or damage;
- Goods that have been worn on a dance floor.
7. Faulty or damaged goods (statutory rights)
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Goods must be:
- of satisfactory quality,
- fit for purpose, and
- as described.
If a product is faulty or not as described:
- Within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund.
- After 30 days and within 6 months, we will repair or replace. If that is not possible or fails, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Please email us with photos of the fault to arrange a return.
8. Returns process
All returns should be sent recorded / tracked — we cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit. Full return instructions will be sent when you notify us.
Please ensure shoes are tried on indoors on soft, clean surfaces only. Once worn on any dance floor or outside, we cannot accept a return unless the goods are faulty.
9. Custom / bespoke orders
Custom-made items are made to your personal specification. Because they are personalised, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply once production begins. Cancellation is possible only before we begin manufacturing, by notice in writing within 24 hours of ordering. Deposits may be non-refundable after this point.
10. Warranty & care
Our dance shoes are handcrafted. Expected lifespan varies with frequency and surface of use. Normal wear and tear is not covered. Please follow the care guide sent with your order.
11. Intellectual property
All site content — images, text, logos, designs — is owned by LLD Presence or our licensors, and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content commercially without our prior written consent.
12. Use of the site
You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the site or servers;
- upload viruses, malware or other harmful code;
- scrape, harvest, or resell site content.
13. Liability
We accept liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breach of your statutory rights that cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price paid for the goods.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data).
14. Privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 business days and resolve them within 14 days.
16. Dispute resolution
If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you may use the UK Government's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform as appropriate.
17. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your jurisdiction.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always shown on this page. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
